About BillCheck Pakistan

We are an independent service that makes checking a Pakistani utility bill take seconds instead of a hunt through a dozen half-remembered websites.

Why we built this

Checking a bill in Pakistan should be trivial, and mostly it is not. Each electricity distribution company runs its own portal. Gas is split between SNGPL and SSGC. PTCL and the fibre ISPs each have their own login page. Reference-number formats differ, portals move, and search results are full of copycat pages that look official but are not.

BillCheck exists to remove that friction. We keep a maintained directory of the official enquiry pages, explain the reference-number format for each one, and send you straight to the provider — who generates and displays the bill.

What we do — and what we don't

We do

  • Maintain links to official provider portals
  • Explain reference-number formats and where to find them
  • Publish guides on tariffs, surcharges and payment channels
  • Help you open, print or download your bill from the provider

We don't

  • Generate, alter or calculate any bill
  • Accept payments or ask for card or bank details
  • Store your reference or consumer number
  • Claim any affiliation with a utility company

What we stand for

Fast by default

One page, one field, one click. No account, no adverts pretending to be buttons, no waiting.

Privacy first

Your reference number is never stored. It is used in your browser to build the provider link, then discarded.

Radically transparent

We publish our editorial standards, our funding, and our correction process — and we date every page.

Accurate and reviewed

Provider links and reference formats are re-verified quarterly, and immediately when a reader reports a problem.

Built for Pakistan

Every DISCO, both gas utilities, PTCL and the major fibre ISPs — described in plain language for local readers.

Free, always

We charge users nothing and never take payment from a provider for coverage or placement.

Who writes the content

Guides and articles are produced by the BillCheck Pakistan editorial team and reviewed by a human editor before publication against the provider's own documentation, plus NEPRA and OGRA notifications where tariffs are involved. Our Editorial Policy sets out our research standards, our use of AI drafting tools, and how we handle corrections.

How we are funded

BillCheck is free and is funded entirely by display advertising. No utility provider pays for placement or favourable coverage, and advertising never influences what we publish. The details are in our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.

Independence notice

BillCheck Pakistan is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by LESCO, FESCO, IESCO, GEPCO, MEPCO, PESCO, HESCO, QESCO, TESCO, K-Electric, SNGPL, SSGC, PTCL, Nayatel, StormFiber, PITC, NEPRA, OGRA, or any government body. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
