Our position

All guides and articles on this site are written in-house and reviewed before publication. Provider names and logos are referenced only to identify the service being described, which we believe is fair, descriptive use. If you nonetheless believe material here infringes your rights, we will act on a properly formed notice promptly.

Sending a takedown notice

Email dmca@checkpakbills.org with the subject line “DMCA Notice”. A valid notice must include:

  1. Your full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  2. A clear description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on checkpakbills.org where the material appears.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We acknowledge every notice within 2 working days. Where the claim is clear, the material is removed or disabled within 5 working days and the URL is logged so it is not republished. Incomplete notices are returned with an explanation of what is missing.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, the URL removed, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was in error. We may restore the material after review.

Repeat infringers

Accounts or contributors who repeatedly submit infringing material are permanently barred from contributing to this site.

If we have used your material

If you spot text, an image, or data on this site that originated with you and was not properly credited, please tell us before filing a formal notice — in most cases we can add attribution or remove it the same week.
